Bowriders have grown increasingly popular in recent years as boaters focus on how they use their boats in the real world. Unlike mid-cabin cruisers with their belowdeck comforts, the bowriders open seating plan is ideal for a day on the water with family and friends. With her comfortable cockpit seating, spacious bow area, and meticulous fit and finish, the Regal 2800 is a superb entertainment platform. The double-wide helm and companion seats have flip-up bolsters and reversible seatbacks, and both transom seats easily convert to aft-facing chaise lounges. While an anchor locker is not unusual, on the Regal 2800 the anchor roller protrudes through the bow stem allowing the anchor to be raised and lowered without lifting it up and over the bow. A power helm seat and two built-in coolers are standard, and a bow thruster and hydraulic swim platform are optional. A single 380hp Volvo sterndrive delivers a top speed of just over 40 knots.
